Direction
Working with God’s
Spirit, the process of spiritual direction can bring into sharper
focus what God is doing in your life. It can lead to greater
self-acceptance and more joy in your relationship with God. It may also help you better
understand God’s purposes for your life. In monthly confidential,
non-judgmental conversations, director and directee together search
out and affirm God’s presence and providence.

Spiritual
direction has
a long and respected tradition in the history of Christianity,
starting with the desert fathers and mothers. In recent years more lay
people are requesting it.
It has been proven especially helpful to adults who wish to
recognize and respond more fully to God’s
love.
